Natureza Infinita apresenta trabalhos realizados pela artista ao longo dos últimos quatro anos, um conjunto de paisagens, que estabelecem uma ponte entre a natureza e o ser humano, mostrando um caminho em que a poesia se assume como matéria primordial.
Em cada árvore, ramo, tronco, raiz ou flor, está contida uma memória coletiva de quem somos na essência: parte de um universo maior, belo, sublime, que nos abraça todos os dias, na clareza das manhãs e na luz do entardecer.
Estas pinturas são momentos de contemplação, de admiração e de inquietação. De afirmação de uma demanda profundamente sagrada: a salvaguarda do património maior como seres humanos - uma alma comum com a nossa irmã Natureza.
Quando pinta uma paisagem, interessa-se por captar a sua luz, cor, movimento e energia. A sua essência humana, expressa-se em comunhão com a natureza que vê, contempla e onde reconhece a sua alma, e a sua força maior.
A união destas duas naturezas revela-se em cada pincelada, traço e gesto, rumo ao transcendente, ao sublime.
Cada detalhe, cada forma de expressão visual, revela um ato de profundo amor, entrega e intensidade perante a vida.
As pinturas mais recentes são a óleo sobre tela, e foram feitas a partir de zonas de floresta da Serra da Estrela, onde explorou uma linguagem mais figurativa.
A série anterior é constituída por pinturas em acrílico sobre tela, e explora uma linguagem orgânica, associada à matéria da própria Terra. Aqui o gesto intuitivo ganha mais expressão. A terra, as flores que brotam, as raízes, remetem para uma fonte de energia, um movimento, uma luz primordial que habita dentro de nós.
O corpo, o gesto, a cor, a terra e a intuição estão aqui intimamente presentes.
Apresenta ainda uma sequência de desenhos a pastel seco em que o mar é o tema principal.
A água, outro elemento primordial da natureza de onde surgiu a vida, num movimento cíclico.
Pretende assim homenagear a natureza nas suas diversas formas, celebrando a vida na sua globalidade e colocando à sua disposição de corpo e alma enquanto ser individual, as suas mãos, olhos e coração.
Designa o seu processo criativo, Arte e Fogo, enquanto motor na orientação e desenvolvimento da essência Humana.

Sobre Ana Silva
Ana Isabel Brás da Silva é natural de Montemor-o-Novo e atualmente vive no Concelho do Seixal, onde é professora de Educação Visual e Artista Plástica.
É Licenciada em Artes Plásticas – Pintura, pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, Ilustração Científica, pelo Instituto de Artes e Ofícios de Lisboa e com Mestrado em Ilustração Artística, pelo Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências de Lisboa.

Infinite Nature presents works created by the artist over the last four years, a collection of landscapes that establish a bridge between nature and humankind, showing a path where poetry is assumed as primordial matter.
In each tree, branch, trunk, root, or flower, there is contained a collective memory of who we are in essence: part of a larger, beautiful, sublime universe that embraces us every day, in the clarity of the mornings and the light of dusk.
These paintings are moments of contemplation, admiration, and restlessness. They affirm a profoundly sacred demand: the safeguarding of our greatest heritage as human beings – a common soul with our sister Nature.
When you paint a landscape, you are interested in capturing its light, color, movement, and energy. Your human essence expresses itself in communion with the nature you see, contemplate, and where you recognize your soul and your greatest strength.
The union of these two natures is revealed in each brushstroke, line, and gesture, moving towards the transcendent, the sublime.
Each detail, each form of visual expression, reveals an act of profound love, surrender, and intensity in the face of life.
The most recent paintings are oil on canvas, created from forested areas of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, where a more figurative language was explored.
The previous series consists of acrylic paintings on canvas, exploring an organic language associated with the matter of the Earth itself. Here, the intuitive gesture gains more expression. The earth, the sprouting flowers, the roots, allude to a source of energy, a movement, a primordial light that dwells within us.
The body, the gesture, the color, the earth, and intuition are intimately present here.
It also presents a sequence of dry pastel drawings in which the sea is the main theme.
Water, another primordial element of nature from which life arose, in a cyclical movement.
She intends to honor nature in its diverse forms, celebrating life in its entirety and offering her hands, eyes, and heart to you, body and soul, as an individual being.
She designates her creative process, Art and Fire, as the driving force in guiding and developing the Human essence.
“I hope that this journey through my art can awaken in you that primordial cry of love for the earth we inhabit, that we may see ourselves reflected in it, and invoke the necessary strength to protect it.
We are a force of nature.
Infinite Nature.”
About Ana Silva
Ana Isabel Brás da Silva is from Montemor-o-Novo and currently lives in the municipality of Seixal, where she is a Visual Education teacher and visual artist.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts – Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, a degree in Scientific Illustration from the Institute of Arts and Crafts of Lisbon, and a Master's degree in Artistic Illustration from the Higher Institute of Education and Sciences of Lisbon.
